Baby Boy Card...

 Good Morning,

I have made a baby boy card for some friends that are expecting their baby boy anytime soon.

I have use a White 6"x6" base card and I chose to use a Turquoise Ink Pad- Evergreen Bough from the Ranger Oxide collection.

Cut the spotted card to fit the main card leaving a white border as I usually do. I inked this time all around the edge of the spotted card with a VersaMark ink pad and white embossing powder to form a distressed edge. Attach to the main card. Add a contrasting striped card  13cm x 11.5cm across the spotted card, right up to the right side edge of the card. Cut out a piece of white card 9cm x 7cm and stamp the image using the Turquoise ink pad, then emboss with clear embossing powder. I painted the image using the Turquoise ink pad and a water brush. Die cut a frame from the rectangles die-set to fit over the stamped image. Attach with foam leaving a small gap on the top left so as you can tie three pieces of ribbon. Add to the card. Die-cut two corner edges and add to the card following the picture. Finish with a greeting.

Winter Blooms Birthday Wishes...

 Good Afternoon

Winter Bloom birthday wishes using the Winter Bloom Stamp from Cardio Majestix range. Tall slim card 21cm x 8cm.

Close up:-

I matted the white card with a Burgundy paper leaving a small white border around the edge. Die cut a white border and attached to the centre of the card. Cut a piece of white card 8.5cm x 5cm and stamped  the Winter Bloom stamp using the three sizes of stamps in a matching Burgundy colour ink pad. (I used VersaFine Clair Chianti), added the branches from the same stamp set then added the leaves from Tattered Poinsettia stamp set. I clear embossed all the stamped images. Edge the rectangle with the darker ink and clear emboss too. Add to the main card 2.5cm from the top. Die-cut the bow and tails from the Burgundy paper and attached to the card. Add a bow with two knots at the end with button thread and add to the top of the rectangle so as to look like a hanging picture. Add a greeting as in the diagram. Finish off with Liquid Pearls on the flowers.

January Birthday Wishes..

 Happy New Year to everyone,

Let's hope 2026 is kind to us .

I have made a birthday card  using a 7"x5" Scalloped white card. Snowdrops added as it is a winter birthday card.

Close up…

Die-cut three tags, one of each size, the largest in white card the other two in patterned paper. Emboss the greeting on the plain white tag. Stamp out two of the Snowdrops with the green ink pad and clear emboss both. Fussy cut around the stamped images. Cut a rectangle from patterned paper 6cm x 15cm and attach to the left side of he card as in the picture. Add all three tags to the card leaving a small gap to fit the Snowdrops. With the marker pen add a stitch all the way round the main card and the larger of the tags. Colour in the Snowdrops with the marker pen and add the Liquid Pearls to the petals.
