Last Day of September...Blimey!

Hi there
Just thought I would add another post in September showing another sample for the class 'Forever Autumn' coming up soon. It's not very often I have time to fit another posting in, must be ahead of myself for a change... think not!

Made this into a small kraft card using the shattered Kraft-Core paper in a rich dark green and stamped onto some white mulberry paper and added a terracotta check bow to finish it off.

Bits used on the class with an autumnal feel...

Sneak peek at the packs ready made up too!

This means I might be able to start the 'C' cards everybody else seems to have started. Got lots of crafty items to get on with, sounds better if I begin tomorrow though, when it will be OCTOBER. Think I need to tidy my room up first.

Spot the 6" square space I have left to work in. I always try to tidy up as I go along but it never works out like that. Do you all know what I mean? Crafters will understand that perfectly...

Thought I would share this with you too, especially for the ladies that ask about my cat Charlie, he's always on hand to help!!!

It took me and Leanne ages to distract him to get this scalloped circle off his paw.

Wandering onto my craft desk as he does, picking bits of string and anything else he can, to attract my attention. I ended up worse off with loads of scratches on my hand. It was so funny though, he was shaking his leg like he was doing the Jive...

A more calmer picture where we are both chilling outside in the sun having a nice cup of tea...that's me with the tea not Charlie, all though I wouldn't put it past him to have a sip when I'm not looking.

And before I go I would like to say, how sorry I was to hear that Jeanne (Cook), one of our crafting ladies, passed away on the 22nd September. We feel very fortunate to have known her and spent time crafting with her.
I'm sure the ladies that go along to Kath's card club will remember her well.

That's all for now, I will be back soon.
Take care till then.

September, one of my favourite months!

Hello everyone,
As the heading says 'September is one of my favourite months' because I love Autumn...
The colours start to change on all the trees and hedgerows from shades of green to all different shades depending on what species they are. Reds, golds browns, oranges, plum and even purple shades, I just love them all!!!
Autumn doesn't officially start till the 21st September, but I think we can feel the autumn air already, if you know what I mean. As for crafting that brings out all the lovely shades in the ink pads: Rusty Hinge, Scattered Straw and Dusty Concord from the Tim Holtz Distress range.

Enjoyed using these colours for my next class, Forever Autumn with  Kraft-Core core'dinations card stock and the new Shattered core'dinations.

The Woodware stamp I have used is a collection of three stamps, a large stamp with various leaves that stamps out beautifully, a background stamp with all the names of trees and a greeting too. The other stamp I have used in the picture is from Stampendous who are doing the House Mouse collection. This is a cute little mouse trying to hang onto the giant leaf!

I used all three colours for the background and for the leaf. Luckily Leanne has said she will cut out the leaf template. As you ladies know Leanne is a good cutter outer, which is not only good news for you but is great as it will stop her chattering (she is now well enough to talk and fidget most of the day).

The class is on Oct. 12th if anyone would like to come along. My next classes after that will be the Christmas classes... can't wait.

Thanks for reading and for those ladies that always ask me about Charlie, this picture below is where he started off on the back of my chair and ended up sat half on my shoulder with me supporting his middle! He eventually slid down onto my lap, still fast asleep. Just as well as my arm was aching.

And this one is where he is poking around in my craft stuff again. Beginning to think he has eaten the two small acrylic stamps I have been searching for and not found yet!!! Or could they have dropped in the bin!!!
Never mind I can always buy some more, ha! ha! ha!

Take care all till next time.

P.S. Hope the finger is alright Ann.
