Happy Anniversary

 Hi there everybody,

I have designed an anniversary card this afternoon as I have a few anniversaries coming up next month so I am well prepared. I didn't use a stamp for the main feature this time, but a wreath I made from strong craft wire.

Close up...

Tightly Woven Burlap.

I used a 7"x7" White card and matted it with a floral patterned paper, leaving a small white border around the edge. Make a circle with the craft wire 9.5cm diameter and wrap it round twice. Add the cream string and wrap around the wire making a bow at the top to finish off. Add to the centre of the card with glue. Add a smaller matching patterned die-cut circle in the centre, then a slightly smaller one with the Burlap. Add an even smaller one with a greeting in the centre. Die-cut a tag and add a greeting.
Make a hole at the beginning of the tag and thread a piece of string and tie in a knot. Add the tag to the card at the bottom left on foam pads. Die-cut 2 corners from patterned paper and add a small strip of Burlap before sticking them down, as in the picture. Add 2 Roses to the card, one in paper the other with the Burlap. I have added a diagram of how to make the Roses if you have not made them before. They are a bit fiddly but practice makes perfect they say. Add punched out leaves to the Roses and behind the tag.

Cut out a circle about 5cm diameter and cut about 1cm around the circle, like a spiral, but don't cut right to the centre. Fold over the edges of the circle all the way round.  Begin rolling at the start and roll together quite tight gluing as you go. When finished rolling, stick down to the centre that you did not cut. Happy crafting!!!!!

Autumn Is Here....

 Good Afternoon,

It is a while since I have posted any new card makings but today I have updated an Autumn design.

Using an A6 White card.

Close up:-

I have made a few of these cards to send to friends to wish them a Happy Autumn.

I die cut a piece of white card using the A2 Distressed Edges Dies, the largest die. I then embossed with a Darice leaf design. Cut a length of Wired Hessian 15cm and cut out a tag shape at the bottom, following the diagram. Fold the top of the Hessian over the top of the die cut. Stick down the Hessian. Before sticking the die-cut to the main card, I have stamped a small background stamp around the edge of the A6 card. Die cut two leaf shapes and colour them with Autumn coloured Ink Pads and clear emboss them. I die cut a tag shape out of Kraft card and stamped a message. Add to the card, then tie a string bow throw a co ordinating button and glue to the centre. I punched out three fern leaves and added them behind the button. I then stamped the word Autumn, cut out and added to the card.
