April Showers...

 Good morning

I thought I would post this card I have made, just before April ends.  I love to use up older papers and stamps that I have in my stash and that I would never get rid of. The stamp is from Woodware and the papers from My Mind's Eye, Quite Contrary collection.

I used a 14.5cm Square White card with a Deckled edge.

I cut the striped paper to fit the main card leaving a small white border all around. I then added a matching paper slightly smaller. Stamped the image with Black VersaFine Ink, emboss with clear Embossing Powder, die cut with a Square Stitched Die and coloured in with Promarkers. Add this to the card following the picture. Stamp out another large Umbrella, colour and emboss with clear embossing powder. Stamp and cut out two of the smaller Umbrellas from the stamp set, and add them all with foam. Add a greeting.

Easter Card...

Hi there just posting a quick post, showing an Easter card I have made for a friend, using the L.O.T.V. Bunny stamp set.

I used a folded circle for the base and an egg die set for the top half of the card. I cut a smaller yellow circle, embossed and cut in two and added to the bottom part of the card. Attached the egg shape and cut another egg shape slightly smaller in patterned paper and added as in the picture. Stamp out the bunny and colour with Promarkers. Cut out and add to the card. I die cut the open border and threaded yellow satin ribbon through the slats. Add to the card across the centre and finish off with a satin bow. I die cut the words 'Happy Easter' and used Liquid Pearls on the flowers.

White Card for the main card.

Daisy Trail....

 Hello there

The theme this time is the common Daisy which at the moment are all around now Spring has arrived. Daisy is the flower for April.

I have used the Cardio Majestix 'Dainty Daisy' which you can find here on my Ebay shop.

Close up...

I have used a 6"x6" Kraft card so that the white Daisies using white embossing powder, show up better.
Die-cut an oval shape from the front of the card. Stamp a few of the Daisy stamps around the edge of the oval cut out using a Versamark ink pad. Cover with the white embossing powder and heat to set. Stamp the Daisies in the blue ink pad and the leaves with the green ink pad and emboss with the clear embossing powder. Add yellow Liquid Pearls to the centre of the white Daisies and a white liner pen to the centre of the blue Daisies. Cut out a smaller white scalloped oval and stamp a greeting in the centre. Add blue stamped Daisies around the greeting. I have added another greeting on Kraft card with the white embossing powder. Add the white liner pen to the middle of the blue Daisies. Attach the white oval to the centre of the card on the inside back. Run a stitch line with the fine liner pen around the main card and the oval.
