Spring Greens!........

Afternoon ladies

Spring Greens, that is the title of the March class. A collection of papers from Graphic 45, which I seem to have attached myself to of late.

Greens...obviously, Lilacs and Creams on the menu too....
Children are on a couple of the papers, vintage style, so I have made a few of the cards that will be ideal for children, but can also be used for any age.

Spring green ribbons, purple felt used for flowers.

                                           A new Stampendous stamp, "Violet Nap".

Card of the Month....Hearts.

Hello everybody

The card I have made for the February "Card of the Month", is appropriately one of hearts, for Valentines Day, of which the stamp can be used for Weddings and Anniversaries too.
This time I have used a 7"x7" scalloped card.

                          I love to make flowers out of felt using a flower die.

                                                           Rolled  paper flowers too!

                                         I  stamped the heart onto the paper and cut it out.

Craft items I have used:-

My Minds Eye paper "Unforgettable"
Woodware stamp - Two Love Birds
Distress Ink - Fired Brick
Versafine Black Ink
Clear Embossing Powder
Black Outliner Pen
Rouge Stickles
Red Felt
Hessian, Pins and buttons.

February:- English Rose.....

Afternoon ladies

Hope you are all well.

My February cards are"Rose and Heart" themed. The papers I am using are the Graphic 45 "Mon Amour" collection. Creams, blacks and pinks for Wedding, Anniversary or Birthday cards with a feminine touch. Quite a sophisticated collection with colours that match well together.

Card of the Month.......Tulips

Afternoon all

The start of a New Year and the start of a new idea....Card of the Month... in which I will design a card using some new papers or new stamps or ones that I already have, but maybe not used before.

For the ladies that come along to my classes they will be able to purchase the materials in which to make the Card of the Month, papers, stamps or stamped out images etc. if they so wish to.
Hopefully it will give you some inspiration if you are in need of any!!!!

The January Card of the Month is "Tulip Girl".....
I have used as follows:-

8"x8" Scalloped card cream card.
MME Ginger "Travel" Tulip paper
Kaisercraft  "Mia" Little One collection
Paper doily
Cream hessian
Stamped image:- Tulip girl
Stickles :-Dark Chocolate
Pearls and Button.
Coloured the Tulip girl with Promarkers:-
Mustard:- Dress and socks
Caramel:- Shoes and hair
Satin:- Skin
Cool Grey 1:- Tag and outline

         Had a play making the Hessian flowers and finished off with a pearl in the centre.

                                        Hope you like the card and the idea.....

January 2016 almost here!!!!

I thought I would put the January samples on to their own post, as 2016 is almost here.

'Highland Winter' is the theme for the first of the card classes for the New Year.

Browns, purples and mustards are the winter colours, plus checks from the new Craftwork Cards paper pads.

Last of the Christmas pics.....

Hi Everybody

Hope you all have had a good Christmas.
Mine didn't go quite as planned, as I was ill, but thankgoodness I was organised with my cards and presents....
Christmas seems to have come and gone so quickly and the New Year is on the doorstep....
Thank you for all the cards you made and sent, very much appreciated, I love to look at what other people have made and pick up ideas too!

Being a nuisance in the other room though, when I was doing a bit of sewing....

Outside the weather thinks it is still Spring with lots of flowers out, apart from when it thinks we need more water!!!!!!

I have had Roses out late but I don't think I have ever had them late December...very pretty though.

Lastly I had to put these beautiful cake creations my sister Joanne made for us....this is the sister that doesn't make cards, but is creative in other ways....needless to say they are all gone and delicious they were too!
