Pretty Button Birthday Card...
Hello there
I have made a birthday card using up lots of buttons I have collected over time. Shades of green and grey that match the paper pad I have used.
White Scalloped 6"x6" Card.
Cut a piece of patterned paper slightly smaller than the card to leave a white border edge. Die-cut two scalloped squares, one white card 10.5cm and one grey 9.5cm. Attach both grey on white and then onto the main card. Die-cut nine scalloped squares 2.5cm in the pale green card. Attach one button to each of the small squares. Add these nine squares evenly to the grey card as in the picture. Punch out the three butterflies from the pattern paper and attach to the card. Add a greeting to the bottom of the card, and finish off with the Liquid Pearls on the butterflies.

A Row Of Daffodils.....
Good Afternoon,
A row of Daffodils are on this card I made today. Spring is on its way, we hope, although it is raining here at the moment.
Close Up.......
I have used an A5 Cream card.Portrait.
Die-cut two rectangles from the stitched rectangle set and yellow card, one 16cm x 10.5cm and one 12.5cm x 9cm. Attach both to the card as in the picture. Cut a length of white card 18.5cm x 5.5cm and stamp across with a Daffodil stamp. I have clear embossed before I coloured in the flowers and leaves and Ladybirds using the Promarkers. Matte the white card with the yellow card. Outline the flowers with a light grey Promarker to make them stand out a bit more. Attach this strip to the main card 5.5cm from the top edge of the card. Cut another piece of white card 5cm x 5cm and stamp the Daffodils as before, emboss with clear embossing powder and colour in with the same pens. Die-cut one square slightly larger than the white stamped square, then a smaller square in the centre to make a frame shape. Die-cut a tag 11cm x 3cm out of the yellow card and a matching yellow bow. Add them to the main card slightly to the right of the card as in the picture. Finish off with a greeting and Stickles on the flowers. I added a Die-cut greeting with a pearl over the i.

February Flowers....
Hi there, I am back with a floral card taken from the inspiration of a card by Julie Hickey who designed the stamps when Craftwork Cards used to have the packs and ideas.
The main card is stamped with the Rose from the stamp set. I have made a few now, each in different colours.
Close up:-
I have used a 6.5"x 5" (16.5cm x 13cm)- White card.
I cut off 1" from the long side of the card. Attach a pink card to the inside back leaving a small white border edge. Die-cut a rectangle approx. 15.5cm x 10.5cm. Stamp the Rose stamp all over the card using the pink ink pad and clear embossing powder. Colour the leaves with a green Promarker pen and the Rose itself using the ink and a water brush. Stamp out five more Roses, colour and emboss as before then cut them out. Attach them to the card over some of the Roses. Attach the rectangle to the card just over the front edge as in the picture. Add the greetings on foam and add the two small hearts either side of the word 'birthday'. Tie a length of matching string around the front of the card.

Happy Valentine's Day...
Good Afternoon,
Valentine's day this Saturday so I have designed a card, or it could be an Anniversary card.
A5 White card, landscape.
I stamped a border along the bottom using a check stamp and red ink, then stamped over the check with a heart stamp. Add a tiny strip of red card to finish off the border. Cut a length of pink button string across the width of the card with a knot at each end. Stick onto the card 4cm from the top of the card. Add red heart buttons to cover the knots. Die-cut three tags from the Daisy Mae Designs tag set, one medium in patterned card, two in the small, one patterned and one white card. Punch out the envelope in patterned card and assemble. Die-cut the small round and the small square tags and stamp out the last tag using the stamp on patterned card, cut the stamped one out. Add greetings and hearts as in the picture above and add all the tags to the washing line using more button thread. Add the Valentine's greeting and the decorative edge around the card using one of the smaller stamps and the red ink.
