Birthday Card for Men...

 Hello there

A birthday card for the men. I made this card for a relation of mine whose birthday is in June, so I am ahead of myself for a change. The Clock stamp is ideal for a retirement card too.

I used a cream card 6"x6" and matted with a brown, slightly patterned paper from Lili of the Valley paper pad, leaving a small cream border around the edge. Die cut four tags from different patterned papers and added them to the card as in the picture. Stamp out the clock stamp with Versamark and gold embossing powder onto a light patterned paper. Cut out and matte onto brown paper and then cream card. Wrap co ordinating coloured string around the stamped image and tie, adding a small embellishment. Attach to the card and add a greeting.

Buttons and Bows.....

 Afternoon everyone

We seem to have been blessed with this nice weather which means I have been more outside than inside making cards, but this morning I decided to make a card for a birthday girl or even a card for a baby. I used the papers from Echo Park 'Life is Beautiful'. The stamped buttons are from the Woodware stamp collection 'Buttons' which you can purchase from my Ebay shop here.

I have used a 7"x7" Scalloped White card.

Die cut a large scalloped square in the pale green card and add to the main card. Die cut a slightly smaller square in the floral green paper, and matte to the green. Die cut a white smaller scalloped square and add that onto the floral. Die cut four smaller squares in mixed pattern papers and add to the card as in the diagram. Stamp out four of the buttons on mixed plain card with the grey ink and emboss with clear embossing powder, cut out the buttons. Tie button string through all four buttons and add to the smaller squares on foam. Add a greeting.

I used Echo Park papers 'Life is Beautiful'.

A Birthday Card For May..

 Morning all

I have designed a Birthday Tag card, for a birthday in May, using a collection of month stamps from Studio G. I chose a Tag die set from Little B to make the card, as they have different sizes and shapes of tags, ideal to make a main card. This one being 12.5cm x 8.5cm.

I stamped the bottom half of the tag with a background birthday stamp and Milled Lavender Distress Oxide ink pad. I then stamped out the main tag image in Wilted Violet Distress Oxide and embossed with clear embossing powder and finally cut out the tag. Add a small piece of ribbon around the tag. Add a strip of paper across the top of the background stamping, on the main tag card. Stamp the 'May' stamp at the top right hand side of the card, five times. Stamp out the flower again on floral paper and the leaves on a piece of green card. Cut out and add to the main image. Attach to the main card. Add a bow through the main tag, pearls and a greeting.
