Christmas in October...........
Hello Ladies
I am back with the cards for October... Christmas cards.....themed around the Craftwork Cards Festive Chalkboard collection.
Red, green, white and of course the black. The black seems unusual for Christmas cards but it is great for embossing on, with Versamark and white embossing powder.
Christmas coloured stickles!!!!
The first sample I have used the Lindsay Mason stamp...'Winter Wonderland Snowman'.
Using the white embossing powder...on a shaped card.
The second sample I have used the Woodware stamp,' Noel Window'.
This is a great stamp that you can cut down and make smaller cards or use the entire stamp as I have done here. Just a sneak peek though!!!
I have these stamps in stock but if you would like this Woodware stamp in particular, it may be a good idea to let me know as soon as possible. The reason being I had word from Judith at Woodware that they are retiring at the end of this year and so I am thinking ahead that you may need to order this stamp early before she sells out.. the Noel stamp is £5.50.
Panic set in when I got the letter....Woodware are one of my favourite stamps!!!!! What am I going to do!!!
I have been debating on what days to do these classes on, as I had mentioned having a small break. The weather has been great and I have enjoyed tidying up the garden and putting in the Autumn flowers, but I have to say I was ready to start my cards again. I think I lost my routine!!!! Anyway the dates are:-
Sat . 8th October
Sat. 22nd October
Afternoon 1:30pm till we finish.
Let me know if you would like to come along. If these classes get booked up I will add another day.
Thank you for popping by.
For those of you that haven't seen Charlie of late....here he is!!!
Cat Napping!!!!!
Take care.

Flowers Just For You....
Hello Ladies
I can't believe I have made my ninth' Card of the Month'......
September is usually a lovely month one of my favourites.
A useful card for a Birthday, Anniversary or Engagement etc.
Lili of the Valley stamp:- Close Your Eyes.
Pink floral paper from MME
I have used pink felt for the decorated corners. I have also shown a close up, so you can see that I have stitched round the edge of the card and the felt corners are stitched together, before I stuck them to the card. I use my sewing machine which stitches paper easily, just remember not to use too much glue or sticky tape as that can clog everything up.
Ingredients as they say:-
1 x 7"x7" Scalloped card
1 x My Mind's Eye paper(Memorable 'Journey' Adventure paper.
White card for layering
Spellbinders Labels Two Dies
Die Namics Corner Dies
1 x LOTV stamp - Close Your Eyes
Sentiment stamp
Assorted Promarkers
Felt
Pink net
Ric Rac
Pink thread (for stitching)
Leaf Punch
Glossy Accents
Stickles
Pearls
I have made up a few packs with the Felt corners, Net and Ric Rac etc. plus I have the Papers and Cards.
Till next time
Take care everyone

Berries and Cream....
Hi Everybody
Busy card making to get my September samples out and here they are...
The theme this time is Berries and Cream, using reds, greens and creams for the papers and stamps that go well together.
Bright and fresh colours, a complete contrast to the last set of cards. My Minds Eye papers which are always my favourites.
Stamps used by Sweet Dixie and Cardio Majestix, which I have for sale. Distressed ink- Barn Door which gives a nice strawberry red colour, very appropriate for the berries.
I have used cream cards this time, different shapes too.
First sample using the Sweet Dixie stamp:-
Second sample using the fresh green gingham papers from Craft Creations.
The two classes will be on :-
Sat. 3rd September - FULL
Sat. 10th September
Four cards:- £16:00
Let me know if you would like to come along.
Thank you for popping by.

August Card of the Month......Flower Stitched Border
Good Morning Ladies......
Back with Card of the Month....Stitched Flower Border. Long title, but the name of the stamp I have used from Woodware. A very versatile stamp that can be used for any occasion and that can be coloured in, or paper pieced, like I have done......with a little stitching added.
Instead of putting the finished picture on to a card, I mounted it on to Calico, which I then put on a wooden embroidery hoop, makes a change. A nice gift as well as a card.
I have put a couple of close ups, so that you can see where I have added embroidery thread. The stitching is just added on over the stamped areas. A little felt too.
