Last Day of December.....

Afternoon ladies,

I hope you have all had a good Christmas, and Father Christmas has been kind to you....

I was going to post the January card samples last weekend until I lost my photographs somewhere on the computer...it can easily happen to those of us who aren't as technical as they thought. I was going away for a few days to Edinburgh with hubbie on the Sunday so hadn't time to get them on once my lovely daughter had found them for me...goodness knows where I had stored (lost) them.

My first class is Saturday 10th January...Winter Blues, where all the cards are mixed occasions but all a shade of blue.
My second class is Saturday 7th February...Heart Felt.

 January samples:-
                                                  One for the men...

Blue background, but stamped image watercoloured using the Distress inks....

And the third sample I used a Molly Bloom stamp coloured in with Promarkers and LOTV papers.

Back to work now to finish the other samples.

We wish you a very Happy New Year and thank everybody for their support in 2014.
Looking forward to see you  all in 2015.

                                                          Love from Jennifer x

December......and Happy Birthday Charlie...

Good Morning ladies

Thought I had better put in an appearance as I haven't posted a message since October. I know I keep saying this, but ,where have the last few months GONE!!!!

I know it is a busy time if you are a crafter, lots of cards to make and presents to make too, but I just wanted to still take time out to enjoy December. The garden can look quite nice when Jack Frost is about, so out I went snapping happily!  I am easily pleased I know!!!

It just amazes me what pretty pictures the frost makes......

Even flowers out in December

A bit of edging here just what I like to put on my cards

As well as the photography I have been busy with the cardmaking too and here are a few of my samples:-

Busy with the leaf punch on this card below.

I love this Woodware stamp that we used on one of the classes.

I really enjoyed making the cards with the rolled up paper.

As I always say last but not at all least, I have put a few pictures on of Charlie, as it is his 14th Birthday today and Leanne had bought him a monkey on a stick... we are not sure if he is impressed or not!!!

                                                         HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHARLIE

Thank you for popping by and I will be back soon with samples for the January class which is on Sat.10th...Winter Blues.

Happy Christmas to you all and  my very best wishes for a peaceful New Year.
Thank you too for all your support over the last year.
Take care.

Robbie and Rudolf....

Good Afternoon ladies

Hope you are all well on the way with your Christmas cards and with the second class coming up you should have lots of ideas to keep you crafting.....

Last Saturday was a very busy class but, hopefully everybody enjoyed it and went away with lots of inspiration....

My next Christmas class which I am splitting in to two classes will be on these dates :-

Sat. 8th Nov. and
Sat. 22nd Nov.

Robbie and Rudolf is the name of the class and I have made three samples, one including Robbie -  you will have to wait to see Rudolf.........

This card is using the scalloped banner cards which will be available to buy at the class, they are just the right shape to make a Christmas card.......

                           Here is Robbie... sitting pretty.....

The last of the samples uses a die from Memory Box which I have put at the bottom of the card with acetate underneath. The winter wishes stamp I will bring along to the class too...

These cards are made using some new My Minds Eye papers which again will be available to purchase.

Hope you like the samples - I will be back soon with the samples for the home classes. Take care till then and thanks for popping by.

Autumn...

Afternoon ladies

I thought I might post a few pictures of cards I have made for Autumn, using the shades that come with the lovely Autumn colours.

This is just a stamp I got from Inkylicious, very appropriate for this time of year.......

For you ladies who bought the seed stamp from Woodware, this is yet another card using Autumn colours and decorating the front of the card using gold embossing powder. (think I must be getting ready for Christmas with the gold)

This one is using one of the small dies from Spellbinders....tree and birdhouses.

Lastly this is using the leaf collection stamp from Woodware, all stamped onto a patterned paper.

I had to end with Charlie up to his tricks again, sat in the middle of everything, flicking things off my desk. Such an attention seeker, but lovable...

Enjoy the colours of Autumn and see you all soon.
Thanks for popping by too!

Last Day Of August

Good afternoon ladies

Hope I find you all in tip top condition and enjoying your crafting ventures. Thought I would just get this blog post in on the very last day of August and say where has this month gone? I think I say that every time I get to the end of a month because time seems to be going so fast...only 115 days before Christmas Day, if my calculations are right. I'm sure some of you will be well on the way with your Christmas cards and for others they will be thinking your joking it's only September tomorrow. I have noticed a few of the shops have started getting their Christmas stock in. I still have one more card class before the Christmas cards start.
A full house on this one...'A Little Bird Told Me', looking forward to that as it seems ages since my last class, even though it was only last month.

Like most of you I have been enjoying the nice weather and have been out and about in the garden, we have been lucky this year as it feels like we have had a summer. Thought the ladies that follow Charlie would like to see the pictures we took of him sharing my kneeling mat when I was tidying up last week. I didn't know I was sharing though!!!! Obviously he thought so....

I had only gone to empty my garden bucket in the compost bin...he is still quick even though he will be 14 years old at the end of the year.

As you can see he got down so I had to go and find another kneeler. Only just fits on!!!! He likes to be where I am and follows me around. Hubby says he thinks he is a dog. Trouble is I keep tripping over him. He is loving my Christmas decorations and ribbons that I have got for my Christmas cards and jumps up onto my desk as soon as he sees ribbon. Talking of which I have finished some of the samples for the first Christmas class in October....

The theme this year for the first one is 'Merry and Bright', using red, white and with a touch of light grey.....

Using an aperture card for the first one.......

A bit of colouring in for all these cards which for me is very relaxing.

And finally a trio of birdhouses decorated up for Christmas

I have got another Christmas class on Saturday 8th November with another set of cards and also I will be doing another Christmas decoration class on Saturday 22nd November if any of you are interested. I  will keep you posted about the home card class when I have sorted a date out for that. Until then enjoy your crafting and thanks for popping by.
Take care.

A good time was had by all and cake was included, as it just happened to be one of the ladies birthday this coming Sunday. They were all lovely ladies of which I had met a few before. The theme was 'Friends'.

Take care till next time.

A Little Bird Told Me....

Hi Ladies
Hope you are all well and still enjoying this sunshine that we have been blessed with. The sun keeps on shining which is great, keep all your fingers crossed that it remains through until September and even longer if we are lucky. Just a few showers in between for the gardens will do nicely....
We have had some lovely Sweet Pea flowers which smell divine..

We have also been doing the butterfly count this week which goes on till Sunday, which is obviously called  'The Big Butterfly Count', as we have had loads of butterflies on the Buddleia  plant at the back. Charlie enjoys counting them too and chasing them after he has had a kip of course!!! Notice he is in the compost..

These photos are from the class last Saturday with the Woodland theme.....

                                                 Ladybirds at the ready....

I have been a busy bee as usual making the samples for the September class and also a private class at one of the ladies houses next week. I have to say although I enjoy making all these samples I am itching to start my Christmas collection, (I know in August).I think it must be that because I have been collecting ribbons, wooden snowflakes and ordered some Christmas papers that it is making me want to start them!!!!
I will hold back though, a tad too early me thinks.

Anyway back to the drawing board as they say....
Saturday 6th September class:-   A Little Bird Told Me......

Don't you just love buttons...you can tell I do. Couldn't resist pouring them all out while Charlie wasn't around!

Great wording on this Stamp Set which I will bring along to sell. All birdie sayings...

Bright blues and oranges.

Some cutting out to do with the leaves on this card, but, you will all be pleased to know only three and Leanne has volunteered to cut out the rest... Better  keep her to that or I could be in trouble.

Talking of Christmas as I was before, my first Christmas class will be on Saturday 11th October.
I will be doing to sets of Christmas cards and I am trying to sort out a class at my home again too, but I will keep you  posted on that next time.
Take care all and thank you for popping by.

Let's Go For A Woodland Walk....

Morning Ladies

Hope I find you all well and enjoying this sunshine we are having at the moment.....let's hope that it lasts a long time!

I have been busy with the class packs in between doing a bit of  gardening while the weather is good. There are always lots of jobs to be getting on with at this time of year if you have a garden. Things grow too quickly and need trimming down constantly, fences need painting and other things need mending. Roll on winter then we can stay inside and just craft....no I don't mean that really..... It so makes you feel better when the sun shines.

The last class was a summer theme with 'All at Sea' and I have a few pictures I took that I didn't put on the last blog post showing the little bottles for the 'message in a bottle' and the rock formation....

Which I have to say was very tasty, as there just happened to be a few left over......

I have booked more dates up until December and will get back to you with the dates for the Christmas classes which will be October and November. I am organising two different ones again. I am also hoping to do a Christmas class at home again too.

New Dates:-
Sat. Sept. 6th  - To be given a title later.

My next class is on Sat. Aug. 2nd - Woodland Walk and here are a couple of the samples I have made.

This one using a new die from Spellbinders and a MME paper in the back ground (a new one to me). Both are available to buy. A little bit of glitter added to the Dandelion flower makes all the difference....

Can't have a Woodland Walk theme without an owl in the tree, one never knows when one will come across one!!!! if you are very lucky.
Hope you like the samples, and if you would like to come along to the class just email me.

Just before I go a few ladies have asked over Charlie, as you know my cat, so I have posted a few photos of the cheeky chappie!!!!

                                        Spot his hiding place!

This photo was when I was clipping a box hedge lollipop tree, he was close by and covered in the clippings but he never moved, unlike when I sprayed him with the hose....needless to say he didn't like that!!!! Sometimes you just have to do these things.
Bye for now.
