Just June

Hi everybody
Hope you are all enjoying the nice weather although a bit changeable at the moment, but the sun is supposed to be back at the weekend! Got a bit of gardening done at the weekend while it was sunny. I was a little frightened of getting my hands dirty, only because of my 'trapped in a car door' sore finger I may add!!! Wrapped it up nicely before putting on my gardening gloves, didn't want to get infection in it as it has been sore enough.. Been a touch handicapped last week trying to finish off the packs for the Saturdays class, surprising how hard it is when all fingers aren't working........
Anyway it's much better now and have managed to make a couple of samples for the July class- Bees and Butterflies. Sat. July 6th
Seen lots of Bees lately but not so many Butterflies yet, just the Cabbage White, just as well not growing any cabbages at the moment.....

Made this card using the strong acetate as the main card and stamped different coloured Butterflies using the Stampendous Ruffled Butterfly which they have brought out again.....

Makes a very delicate Birthday card...

My second card is an Easel shape, using a Wild Rose Studio cling stamp, not used this company before but it stamps very clearly, backed with a new MME paper from 'The Sweetest Thing' range.....
Buzzy Bees on this card coloured in with promarkers and on the wings I have used a Gelly Roll clear sparkling pen.

A cute card but not too cute that an adult wouldn't appreciate receiving it...

After finishing the June class samples I decided to tidy my craft room up, as it was getting extremely cluttered...

I packed all my things away and I can tell you that took quite some time......Blitzed the room and painted it white (it was previously cream)

Felt great just to give everywhere a clean.

Everything seems to get soooo.... dusty....

I had a little help from a lovely assistant, sitting on the job as per usual. It was so good that she has felt so much better and that she could help even if it was a small section she did.... Well done to Leanne........

The theme this time is the seaside with bright red, blue and yellow bunting and of course my fairy lights, all washed and put back....

Everything has a place, have to say the embossing folders look very tidy but obviously I didn't get them all in the box............

Overflow on the shelves neatly in baskets along with my Die cutting packs...

It's surprising how easier it is to work when everything has a home and you can put your hand on what you want straight away....

I have sorted all my Dies out too, and put them onto the magnetic sheets which stops them sliding around and falling out of the packets.

As you can see, I still have lots of stuff, but who  hasn't!!!!!

I've got a nice new craft mat too, pale blue to match, trouble is I don't want to get any ink on it!!!!!

It's great to work in my little craft room that is extra clean for the time being, and as you can see I am not alone, I'm sharing a seat with a  friend.......
Talking of which, we caught him in the act, as we say, again.......
Must remember not to leave any drinks around in the future.......little tinker strikes again!!!!!!

Hope you have enjoyed the pics.
